Waking up at 11:08 a.m.

My left eye is crusted shut—yep, definitely some sort of pink eye.

Breakfast: Peaches. Mango. Hot Red & White Tea. Zinc, Ibuprofen.

All day shift at China Wok.

A few eye drops seem to help soothe the eye.

Rolling up the menus and putting them on the doorknobs in nearby neighborhoods, or strategically face up on the doormats so people can see the tear-off coupons.

Enjoying an ice cold Vitamin Water.

Lunch: Egg Sandwich with Mayonnaise and Tomato. Various Potato Chips. Honey Green Tea.

The daytime is dreadfully slow for Chinese food.

Reading the third DOOM novel.

Strawberry Yogurt.

Driving through Oakshire Apartments, a black lady huddled up with a group of other people notices the color of my shirt and my rims and yells out, “Hey! His shirt matches his tires.” I didn’t plan that.

Pretty Russians waiting at the bus stop off First Colonial.

The orders pick up for the dinner rush.

Finally home after almost 11 hours of working for the China Wok king.

Enjoying a Vegetable Lo Mein and a Miller High Life.

A little bit of Google work.

Ahh yes. My queen arrives. She’s wearing that silky green birthday dress I like.

Putting on National Geographic’s Is It Real? series, an episode on crop circles. Within the first minute I’m all over her—pausing Netflix. I mean, she’s lying there half-naked and her lovin’ is all for my taking. You’re so good, darling. We don’t share even one kiss on the lips for fear of her contracting my conjunctivitis. But despite, we still know how to love each other.

A glass of Milk.

Sleeping with her. 3 a.m.
