I can’t put my finger on any details of my surroundings
except that there’s this lady named Khonda and I keep saying to her what I
think is something so profound: “The only way to be nonjudgmental is by seeing
everyone as equal.”

It’s earlier than usual and I feel I’ve received a good
amount of sleep but I just can’t seem to pull myself out of the bed. I doze off
until at least 1:12 p.m.
For a few weeks now Stephanie said she was writing me a
letter. Here it is by my doorstep inside a sparkly ghost bag along with a
bottle of zinfandel. The smell of nail polish fills my nostrils while
reading...
Strawberry Toaster Pastries. Orange Juice.
While running errands I observe a volunteer rescue ambulance
take advantage of his infrared traffic light changer just to make a leisurely
right hand turn. Wow. If only I had one of those. I’d be king of this
town.
Attempting to fix my car’s stereo.
Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Hummus. Potato Chip Trio.
Honey Green Tea.
Watching Bellflower (2011).
We’ve officially designated all residents of our house to
take on particular chores and cleaning duties. So now it’s not the sole
responsibility of one person like myself to do everyone’s dishes or clean the
bathrooms. Now each one of us cleans up after themselves and we divvy up
bathroom duties monthly. I take the first bathroom cleaning shift and boy is it
a lengthy endeavor but it’s well worth it. I’ve successfully scrubbed off the
grime and mold from areas that probably haven’t been touched in ages.
Exercising and learning Russian.
Going for a run around the neighborhood.
Spaghetti with Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, and Tomato Sauce.
Cabbage and Lettuce Salad. Thai Tea.
At the storage unit recording some acoustic guitar tracks.
Chocolate Chip Cookies with Milk.
Attempt to sleep at 4:30 a.m. but I’m having a terrible time
actually achieving sleep mode because my brain is cluttered with ambitious
thoughts and plans and worries.
