With James hustling out in front of a busy marketplace. We have signs hung on the walls beside us that say "FREE GAS". It's understood to be a joke but people can't resist free stuff. We pretend to offer them our special made up deals.

Waking up with hesitation at 11:40 a.m.
Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Non-Dairy Cream Cheese. Orange Juice.
All day shift at China Wok.
A fairly busy afternoon for deliveries.
Snapping the snow peas.
Tomato Crown with Tuna Salad and a Roll. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Honey Green Tea.
Ana comes by to visit during the last two hours of my shift.
She expresses her uncomfortable feelings towards wearing gloves, wearing glasses, or anything that attaches to her skin because it tickles.
Me: "Ha-ha. You're so funny. I don't wear gloves or glasses because I'm ticklish."
Off work and back home.
Sharing dinner with Ana in the dining room. She slurps up vegetable lo mein while I slurp up Fried Shrimp with Broccoli, Onions, Carrots, and Rice in Garlic Sauce. Washing it down with a Tecate.
Up in my room. While I shower she studies a book she's been reading about managing your life and continues to fill up the pages to her mini composition journal with the Tokyo keyboard sticker on it. Earlier at work Ling asked me if I knew about that Hungarian song "Gloomy Sunday" that came out in 1933 and supposedly sparked a string of suicides. Even the composer killed himself not long after it was released. It's been considered the most depressing song ever. I had never heard it before now. I find a Youtube playlist of various versions of the song. It's quite beautiful and sad. Billie Holiday's version is haunting and soothing.
...
Despite Ana being on her period I encourage a sexual episode. I've been needing it. She's a little embarrassed about it considering the bloodiness. But we get through it with flying ecstatic colors.
Sharing some Cinnamon Raisin Toast. Then off to sleep at 3 a.m., a decent hour considering my sleeping schedule as of late.
