Waking up real late 2:22 p.m. I feel like I just slept through summer.
Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Cream Cheese. Orange Juice.
Our food angel, Skipp, drops by with a few crates of goodies.
Cutting up and eating Cantaloupe and Watermelon.
Two Polish couch surfers, Magda and Pola, are added to the mix of travelers in the house – very sweet-natured personalities.
Taking the crew to the thrift store, Trader Joe's, and Five & Below.
Having a bowl of Intensified Garlic and Onion Black Beans with Rice that Caylin cooked up.
Camaraderie with everyone.
Basketball.
The girls share a round of authentic Polish cherry vodka with everyone at the table. I decline it for now. I was craving cereal earlier so I eat a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats.
Field trip to Norfolk. Laron, Pola, Magda, and Caylin all hop into my station wagon and we go to The Wave for a night of dancing and drinking. Ana joins up later. Her and I witness a perky shirtless white dude impress three big-bootied black girls with wild provocative dance moves. Overall it's not a packed place leaving the room wide open for me and my crew to hop and shake about. They kick us out at 2 a.m. A guy named Rob that hobbles out of the club with us asks to accompany our group at Mama Jo's next door for some pizza. He's actually 46-years-old but looks 37. Fun conversations ensue.
Sleep 5 a.m.
