Alarm goes off at 11:05 a.m.
Peaches and Sprite Melon.
All day shift at China Wok.
It's slow as a mug here at the restaurant. Busying myself with writing.
French Fries with Ketchup. Honey Green Tea.
Janice, my boss's daughter, is here fiddling with markers, drawing swans and ducks. Every time I get up to walk out with a delivery she guards the door with a playful attitude.
Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Wow. It is pouring.
Elliott drops by and rides with me on a delivery out in Croatan. Talking about how the latest trend in local music is to start a solo project and gather your friends to back up the band. He wants me to go surfing with him sometime cause I've never been.
Me: "You're such a Virginia Beach...person."
Strawberry Greek Yogurt.
The sun resurfaces and a rainbow appears.
Nighttime deliveries are in abundance but the tips are okay.
Kevin comes to help with the dinner rush, his first night working at China Wok. He catches on quick. My bosses seem to like him. He'll be replacing Darren's days.
It's after 11 p.m. Back home finally.
Vegetable Moo Shu and a Rolling Rock.
James and Ana are here. Ana made me a wooden box with my online moniker, Observant Dreamer, stitched onto it as well as clouds.
Her: "I know how you like to keep things."
Me: "Thank you for my dream box!"
It's Josh's official first night in Darren's old room. Room Warming Party. Anthony's facilitating songs on the computer and recites lyrics to Counting Crows songs in a poetic manner. They persuaded Laron to drink for the first time. He turns into an even jollier character than before. I give him an old t-shirt with one of Phil Gray's marker drawings ironed onto it (I made it over two years ago at 1623).

In my bedroom. It's nice to see Ana and hold her and squeeze her and such. She hides behind her hair full of secrets. I run my fingers through the black strands sifting through, searching for clues to those things held deep inside. It's been a while since we've had sex but we make sure to change that tonight.
Cuddling in the bed before we drift off to sleep at a decent hour.
