Ana shows up dressed in an attractive lavender shirt and those black horse-riding pants. She just got back from an interview at La Dolce Vita, a bakery and wine bar – she almost resembles a character in Wes Anderson's, The Grand Budapest Hotel. At any rate the bakery hired her and she starts tomorrow. I'm very happy for her that she finally found a job more appropriate to her personality and a job that she's more likely to be satisfied with.
Icelandic Milk Chocolate.
The girls pull out matching balloons to play with...
Racking up the miles and the orders.
Apple.
Vegetable Lo Mein.
Off work at a decent hour for once.
I head to the storage unit to practice some songs. After an hour Ana joins me to rehearse the songs we usually sing together. Sometimes I get a little too critical when I notice her not singing with the zest I know she uses when she performs. But I know it's late and we're both tired. I've always felt I had a higher expectation for songs to achieve their full potential. I've always held this principle when I practice to play music with the same passion I would use when performing. "Practice the passion!" I make up this motto tonight.
Back home.
Sharing Popcorn and Dragonfruit Tea.
Sleep at 4 a.m.
