Waking up at 10:47 a.m.
Bran Flakes and Berry Cobbler Granola with Vanilla Almond Milk.
All day shift at China Wok.
It's terribly slow in the afternoon. I take care of prepping the bags. Eileen watches by the counter counting them one by one.
Me: "Bags. Bags. Bags. I'm the bag boy!"
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. Kombucha Tea.
Eventually the orders pick up after 6 o'clock. Now I can finally get into the delivery driver zone behind the wheel – getting lost in heart warming stories from a Radiolab podcast.
Baked Salt n Vinegar Chips.
Dogs. Dogs. And more dogs. Every four in five customers own dogs. I see many a dog.
Ana visits for a bit at the last hour. She just bought lipstick and her lips are unusually red.
Me: "I don't think I've ever seen you wear lipstick before. Your lips are really red."
She looks good though. After she leaves here she attends a show at Belmont in Norfolk.
Off work and back home.
Mongolian Chicken. Sparkling Grapefruit Izze.
Tinkering with my new iPhone – transferring contacts, etc.
Sleep 4 a.m.
