Waking up around 10 a.m. Ana and I planned on getting an early start today.
Sharing bowls of Honey Crunch n Oats with Strawberries and Almond Milk.
We head off down 264 to explore some of our favorite thrift stores, The Salvation Army and the DAV. We're both on the lookout for costume ideas. I found green pants and a green long sleeve shirt to be a broccoli – Ana found a spot-on red jacket that Jane wears in Daria. We spend a lot of time in the stores trying on silly outfits and enjoying all the random bric-a-brac. I found a new steamer, an old popcorn machine (from 1987 but new in box) that mounts underneath a cabinet, a clock, and a mini-sized Christmas tree for the house.
Both of us exhausted from the thrifting we make it back home. I brew some Coffee. She makes herself multiple peanut butter sandwiches – I swear she's addicted to those things but then again maybe I am too. I scramble some Eggs and toast a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Vegan Cream Cheese.
At Music Makers teaching piano and voice.
At the Rec Center for adult basketball. One of the hoops became bent before I arrived causing one court to be out of order. But the games still go on. I don't have many all-star moves like I did last Tuesday but all around I got a good workout in.
Beet Burgers with Hummus, Tomatoes, Mixed Greens and Homemade Red Cabbage Slaw.
Back home doing chores and organizing things.
