Waking up at 11:38 a.m.
Quick phone conversation with mom while she's on her work break.
Honey Crunch n Oats with Almond Milk.
Practicing piano.
Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Sandwich. Potato Chips. Honey Green Tea.
Teaching piano lessons at Music Makers.
Banana. Salmon Jerky.
Working out and running a few miles at The Escape.
When picking up some Crispins from Harris Teeter the cashier asks for my ID as a cashier is supposed to do. After she looks it over she says, "Oh!" as if she didn't expect me to be that old. I guess I should be flattered people assume I'm still young looking.
Beet Burgers tonight with Ana. I made sure to roast the beets in the afternoon cause they take about an hour to soften. Another successful beet dinner including Caramelized Onions, Homemade Hummus, and a Mixed Greens Salad. Talking Heads record on in the background. Kevin comes home with a story about how he got fired and rehired again at China Wok. Darren and I come to the conclusion our bosses hold Kevin to different standards and whenever he falls short of their expectations they don't hesitate to be dramatic. It's a dramatic situation at China Wok always anyway.
Later upstairs Ana and I hang out – watching videos on Youtube, mostly comedy. I joke about how thick her hair is even after getting a haircut. She's convinced I think it's funny but that's not true – I adore her new look. But just for fun I pull out a ruler and measure the thickness of her hair. It stretches out five inches from her neck.
Sleep 3 a.m.
