Waking up at 10:30 a.m.
Irish Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Maca Powder, Maple Syrup, Chia Seeds, Strawberries, and Almond Milk. Coffee with Cream and Honey.
All day shift at China Wok.
Banana. Thunderbird Energetica Cashew Fig Bar.
The bright sun makes the freezing temperatures a little more bearable.
Leftover Sprouted Mung Beans and Kale. Sweet Potato Corn Chips with Hummus. Pu-erh Tea.
The day continues steadily with deliveries. I keep the inside of my car like an oven but when I step outside I run and try not to let the cold rattle my bones too much.
After 9:30 p.m. the restaurant is dead. No phones ringing. No walk-ins. I do some chores like taking out the trash and boxes, sweeping, stocking, etc. Talking to my mom briefly on the phone about her trip coming here Tuesday. We're both excited to be reunited again.
Arriving home a few minutes after 11 p.m. just in time. Ana just finished baking a homemade Pizza using coconut flour, a new ingredient we're both unfamiliar with. It turns out deliciously sweet and biscuit-like. I'm grateful.
Me: "Thank you, dear."
Both of us are surprised at the amazing nutritional properties of coconut flour.
Settling down upstairs.
Practicing piano.
Sleep 3 a.m.
