Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Maca Powder, Maple Syrup, Chia Seeds, Strawberries, Blueberries, and Almond Milk. Coffee with Cream and Honey.

At the Seatack Rec shooting the basketball around and working out.
The cold wind howls through the night attempting to knock over my car as I drive. According to my weather app it feels like 12 degrees – that couldn't be truer.
Back home. I rustle up Ana from a nap – her room is toasty and warm. Making dinner for us downstairs: Brown Rice Quinoa Spaghetti with Kale, Spinach, Almond Salad. Sharing Dark Chocolate afterwards.
I mix together a double batch of oat and almond biscuits in the kitchen. Adding a touch of rum extract. Each time I find a way to perfect the recipe. Making a circle with my index finger and thumb and compact the dough into stable biscuit rounds. Meanwhile, Ana wears her clay facemask and vacuums her bedroom and hallway. She's settling into the mold of the house quite well. I like having her nearby. It's like being pre-married sort of. We don't share a room but share the same house. I have high hopes for the relationship.
Settling into Ana's room sleeping with her in her bed for the first time in this house. It's all cozy under the covers. A tiny draft whistles through the windows. The moonlight and light pole from outside glowing. Sleep 3:30 a.m.
