Ana and I wake up at 11 a.m.
My mom comes over after attending church for our traditional Sunday morning Oatmeal. I make a big pot for the three of us and brew some Teeccino to go with.
Showing her the photos and video footage from yesterday's rock school concert. She tears up during Thomas's performance of "Our House" where I'm singing beside him. It's a true honor to be a part of these kid's development in music. I see myself in them when I was first starting to dabble in music. I know my mom is proud of me and what I'm doing.
Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Cashew Cream Cheese. Corn Tortilla Chips with Avocado and Tomato. Honey Green Tea.
Watching The Runner (2015).
At the Rec shooting the basketball around.
Asian Pear.
Napping.
Making dinner for Ana and I: Fried Tofu (in Peanut Oil) with Broccoli, Carrots, Onions, and Rice. I tried my best to re-enact the tofu dish I used to eat all the time at China Wok.
While cleaning up and using the mandolin slicer to prep potatoes Ana and I give each other a hard time. She whines about how I do EVERYTHING all the time for her and in general. She whines about having to eat peanut oil. But it's all in good fun. It's this kind of interaction that makes our relationship interesting.
Trying to figure out video stuff on the computer.
Learning ELO songs.
Ana's about to go to sleep. I wrap my arm around her as she describes the tough times she goes through at work.
Sleep 4 a.m.
