Ana comes into my room feeling distressed about everything. I've already got the lights off except for the blue string lights coiled around my bed. I lie there and listen to her talk – she wants to be a better person and doesn't want to feel like a mess all the time. She keeps her face dry from all the tears and sniffles using a towel and crawls into bed with me.
