Full day of teaching lessons at Music Makers.
Mia, one of my students, says she can read palms. She looks at the lines on my right hand and tells me I'm creative, will live a long life, and that my true love will come later in life.
Back home. Mom and Ana made us dinner: Tofu with Onions, Broccoli, Carrots, and Quinoa.
Ana's playing bass with You're Jovian tonight at Back Bay (or The Blind as they call the venue above the bar). Other bands performing are Cloud Becomes Your Hand and Horse Lords, both fresh avant-garde acts – Horse Lords especially full of hypnotic polyrhythms and microtonal sounds. Phenomenal performances all around. It's nice to see familiar faces and friends. Sipping on a Blonde Ale and enjoying the show.
Back home.
Apricot and Maple Leaf Cookies.
Ana's stressed from lack of sleep and packing to go on tour with the band tomorrow afternoon. She sleeps next to me before around 2:30 a.m.
