Josiah and Bianca scoop me up from the house. We drive out to Moyock, North Carolina for a Ladada show. We have no idea what's in store. Arriving at 9 – the other pop punk (or post-hardcore) bands already played and we showed up just in time to end the night. It turns out to be the backyard of an abandoned house, or it belonged to a guy named Hunt (hence they call it Hunt's House). It's mostly an adolescent crowd. The kids are moshing and brawlin' throughout our entire set. We're totally out of place but nobody cares, nor do we. We're just doing out thing. An overgrown broke down shack stands just feet away from us giving this place a haunted country vibe.
Back home.
Cantaloupe. Plantain Chips.
Prepping for New York.
Sleep 3 a.m.
