Waking up at noon.
Irish Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Maple Syrup, Raisins, and Kefir. Guayusa Tea.
Mom and I prepare a big pot of lentils and rice to have for dinner later.
Business.
Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Non-Dairy Cream Cheese. Potato Chips with Avocado. Honey Green Tea.
Loading up gear with Drew and DeeGee. Then riding my bike to the Neptune Stage for the DEJA gig. Beforehand, Stereobloom (Drew's son Tim plays drums in this band) does a set. The bass player attempts to do a front flip at the beginning of one of their songs. He almost lands just right.
Then, DEJA goes on before and after the fireworks. In between sets I ride over to the Farm Fresh parking lot to retrieve a Tupperware of Lentils, Rice, and Kale from my mom.
Back home. Ana baked Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies. It's funny cause I was just thinking about how great it'd be to have a cookie and then she makes some. We head over to the space to rehearse our songs.
