Today's the big Rock School show. The three bands I've been coaching are all performing at Eagle's Nest along with five of my private students. Drew and Dee Gee put a lot of hard work into starting this whole rock school thing in Virginia Beach. I'm grateful that they invited me on board. It makes me so proud to see all these kids get up there and put on stellar performances. Some of the parents had tears in their eyes after watching their child perform. As Drew says, "Together, we made a lot of families very happy today and injected a lot of positive energy into the universe." Well said.
Doc Holiday, a famous producer, was present.
I hired Kevin to take care of photography during the event...
Grilled PB&J. Olive Oil Potato Chips. Honey Green Tea.
Earlier, Ana wrote me a little note along with a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies she made for the rock school kids. I get the chance to read it over again. I appreciate how supportive she is of me and all that I do.
"I am so proud of everything that you do. I'm happy that all you do is make people's lives better by teaching them about music. I love you more than I show."
Sorting through all the video footage and photos.
Napping.
Ana made us a hearty healthy dinner: Lentils, Onions, Cauliflower, Zucchini, and Quinoa.
Watching the rock school concert with Ana.
