Waking up at 10:30 a.m.
Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, and Kefir. Irish Breakfast Tea.
Teaching lessons at Music Makers all afternoon.
Banana.
Sardines. Sourdough Toast with Vegan Cream Cheese. Salt n Vinegar Chips with Avocado.
Chores. Sorting through photos from last weekend’s show.
Power napping.
DEJA’s got a gig at South Breach Grill down the street. During the first set I invited Megan, one of my students, to guest sing on “Paranoid”, a song she already knows well. It’s a huge hit – the crowd gives a big applause afterwards.
Leftover Pizza and Salad on the break.
Then, back into the second set. For some reason the whole bar is fixated with the songs we’re playing. Everything jives and thrives.
Back home. Ana and I settle into my bedroom. It’s high time for a little lovemaking.
Sleep at almost 4 a.m.
