Waking up at 11 a.m.
Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, and Kefir. Earl Grey Tea.
Teaching a few afternoon vocal lessons.
Grilled PB&J. Popped Chips. Apple. Coffee.
Teaching lessons at Music Makers.
Crazy things kids say: “Is it a neck or a penis?” Nash asks when pointing to the neck of a longneck dinosaur figurine sitting on the piano.
Making dinner: Vegetable Fried Rice with Broccoli, Carrots, and Peas.
Ladada rehearsal with Josiah and Bobby. Jon couldn’t make it but Kenny stops in and jams with us – he’s at another unit down the hall. Sipping on a Young Veterans Kolsch.
Back home. Snacking on Popcorn.
Ana’s been exceptionally emotional lately. The box of tissues on her desk gets substantial use as she explains her crisis of dealing with other people and the feeling like everything out there in the world is ready to attack. Meanwhile, Elvis is freaking out about the presence of a dog in the house. Olivia and Jimmy just moved in with a small dog.
