Waking up at 10:30 a.m. Today is the first day of a distinctively colder temperature – bringing in Fall.
RX Bar with Irish Breakfast Tea.
Doing my third personal training session with Hannah at CrossFit TakeOver. My quads are sore from Wednesday’s workout but we master some other moves with the barbell. She says I’m a great student to teach.
Vega Recovery Shake.
Scrambled Eggs. Sourdough Toast with Butter and Jam. Salt n Vinegar Chips with Avocado. Coffee.
Teaching a few in-home lessons. Ian, one of my more determined and talented students, always tends to be too hard on himself reacting dramatically every time he makes a mistake. I try my best to explain that his determination is a strong suit.
Doing a one-off band rehearsal with the pre-teen band. They’re always a handful to manage but we stay productive.
Afterwards, at Nawab for Indian cuisine with Ana and mom. Lamb with Veggies, Rice, and an array of appetizers.
After that, Ana and I hit up the studio to do a full on practice. We’ve been working on our rendition of Moby’s “South Side” and Led Zeppelin’s “Ramble On”. Recently, she got inspired after hearing “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac so we’re now doing a smooth cover of that.
Gelato.
Sleep 3:30 a.m.
