Waking up at 10:45 a.m.
Ana made amazing Waffles and Coffee for breakfast.
Time to set up the stage at Elevation 27 for the big Music Makers LIVE show this afternoon. It’s hot as all get out and it’s about to get hotter on this stage. I’m running around making sure everything goes smoothly. Got Devon helping with stuff on the stage. Got Alexa’s dad emceeing on the mic to keep the show rolling. These bands do a phenomenal job. So much improvement from the last time.
There’s a great moment when mom hops on the stage with the tambourine during the adult band’s performance of “Give Me One Reason”, a favorite of hers. She’s been fighting this stupid cancer for some time now and watching that big warm smile of hers really proves how much strength she has.
We manage to get everything unloaded back to Music Makers in a timely fashion.
Ana, mom, and I get something to eat at Ynot Pizza for a late lunch. Enjoying slices with Garlic Knots and Salads.
Later, catching up on things and taking a nap.
At the studio organizing all the gear and putting the drum set back together.
Herring. Leftover Salad. Parm Bread. Beer.
Sleep 3:30 a.m.
