Waking up at 11:30 a.m.
Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, and Kefir. Irish Breakfast Tea.
Catching up on business and packing up for the show tonight.
Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Butter and Jam. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Coffee.
Teaching a few in-home lessons: Jolin and Edwin. They’re very excited cause they have a single sunflower that has grown very tall in their backyard garden. Their grandparents oversee the growing jungle back here – it’s crazy cause very inch of soil has been toiled to produce some kind of plant or vegetable.
Later on, Musicplayer makes our debut at Pizza Chapel from 9 to midnight. Setting up in a tight corner by the bar, similar to when we played Winston’s Café. We still manage to get all our gear in here minus a speaker. I even have a new stage light setup which helps brighten up the area. It’s a nice crowd through the first couple sets. I’m very proud of Ana and I – we always seem to achieve an extra level of musicianship at every gig. The Pizza Chapel crowd is receptive.
Back home. Recapping the show with Ana. I joke with her that we’re on tour at the oceanfront this weekend cause we have another beach gig tomorrow.
Leftover Soup, Kale, and Pizza.
Sleep 4 a.m.
