Waking up at 11 a.m.
Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Blueberries, Maple Syrup, and Almond Milk. English Breakfast Tea.
Teaching a single piano lesson at Music Makers. Then rushing off to the rehearsal spot.
Today is the final rehearsals for these three bands. Tomorrow is the big show! So we’re preparing their sets as best we can.
For lunch eating some Vegetable Fried Rice and a Shrimp Egg Roll from Ming’s down the street.
Packing all the gear up after 6:30.
Heading straight to Norfolk for the Lava anniversary show. Community Witch and tons of other bands are playing. We’re all freezing our feet and fingers off but the fire pits are roaring and the socializing/music keeps us warm. Ana’s band recruited a fourth member, Rashie – her debut performance tonight. I stand in on guitar for one of their songs. Very proud of them.
