Waking up around 11:50 a.m.

 

Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Blueberries, and Almond Milk. Scottish Breakfast Tea.

 

Running errands – organizing gear. Elliott and Ana link up at the #104 space to load up stuff for tonight.

 

Egg. English Muffin. Spinach. Coffee. Salt n Vinegar Chips.

 

Teaching lessons at Music Makers.

 

Right after 7 I have to drive straight to Three Ships Coffee on 19^th Street. Elliott and I are setting up for the secret B-52’s show we’re doing for an employee party there. Between him and I, we get the sound system, lights, and amps functioning. Everyone rolls in and we try out our adventurous B-52’s set for the first time in front of an audience. Beyond Elliott breaking a string during Love Shack and a few flubs we perform a stellar set! We even had someone volunteer to wear the Rock Lobster costume.

 

 

Afterwards, Ana and I get all the gear loaded back into Music Makers. We eat some Pink Dinghy food. She takes off to hang out with friends at The Banque while I set up the studio for rehearsals on Saturday. Even though I won’t be here I’ve delegated Andrew Perrot to help lead two of the bands.

 

Back home. Muffins and Green Tea.

 

Packing.

 

Ana gets home from being out. We make fire in the bedroom.
