Waking up around noon.
Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Blueberries, and Almond Milk. English Breakfast Tea.
Going through all the figures and numbers from the Broadway show and budget – it’s quite an ordeal to double check everything. I spend most of my afternoon doing this.
Eggs. Bagel. Spinach. Chips. Coffee.
Teaching lessons at Music Makers.
Afterwards, I meet with Carol, who’s been a dedicated parent on the Broadway production team. Throughout the session we’ve had a few things build up on her part that she needed to get off her chest and also needed to be encouraged by me. I rarely get to have a one on one with her so I think this discussion was really helpful in getting everything out on the table. It’s important when working in such a high stress environment such as this we take great efforts to be aware of others and make sure to show appreciation. Her and Haley have really put a lot into this program.

After Rebecca finishes up her ballet lesson with Haley then her and I have a discussion about the discussion. We’re really learning a lot about each other and what it really takes to have a successful program.
Back home. Eating some leftovers for dinner and catching up on business.
Writing checks and crunching more numbers.
