Waking up around noon.

 

Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Flax Seed, and Almond Milk. English Breakfast Tea.

 

Catching up on business.

 

Cleaning more of Ana’s old room.

 

Eggs. Sweet Potato. English Muffin. Spinach. Coffee.

Watching Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain (2022).

 

Picking up the twin bed from the storage unit and fixing it up in Madelaine’s new room – running errands.

 

Driving over to Elliott and Michelle’s place in Norfolk for a small July 4^th shindig. Doug, Kelly, and Josiah are here too. Grilling out some Chicken Sausages, Asparagus, and Okra. Corona, their dog, roams around perking up every time a firework goes off. Sipping on some Champagne.

Then, Elliott takes us out to the street to light a rocket and firecrackers, the only appropriate thing to do on a day like this.

...

After everybody leaves Elliott and I clean up and have a little pow wow – I talk to him more about what I’ve been going through with Ana moving on with her life.

 

Back at the house, Rebecca and Madelaine are deep cleaning the bedroom. Later on, Elvis discovers Possum, Madelaine’s guinea pig. It might take him some time to acclimate to the new setup in here.
