Waking up around 11:30 a.m.
Cereal. Tea.
Rebecca and I drive out to the Sentara Leigh hospital to visit with Nigel. Kevin and his girl Casey are here too. Nigel had what they call a baby stroke a few days ago and they’re running tests. We foresee him being fine for tour but still a chance he may not be able to. We discuss travel plans and accommodations for the Florida shows. It can be stressful sometimes cause money is always tight.
Grilled PB&J. Kale. Eggs. Coffee.
Coaching a few bands at Music Makers with Rebecca’s help for the second band.
Afterwards, cleaning up the space and organizing some things.
Dinner: Pasta with Baby Broccoli.
Watching Russian Doll.
Cleaning up things and doing chores. Catching up on business.
Eventually, I lie down on the couch with Elvis – he perches right by my side in such a loving way I can’t even fathom getting up. So I sleep here for a while.
